LoP Jayanarayan Mishra To Raise Naba Das Murder Issue In Assembly

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the upcoming session of the Odisha Assembly, Leader of Opposition (LoP) Jayanarayan Mishra on Saturday said that he will soon expose the mystery surrounding the brutal murder of Naba Das there.

Mishra also alleged that those, who are involved in the Naba Das murder, are a conspiracy against him.

“I have put several facts before the media and there are a lot of issues including the Naba Das murder case which I will raise in the Odisha Assembly. I will soon make an expose in Odisha Assembly. People know very well who are behind the ghastly murder and they will understand when I make reference without taking their names,” said Mishra.

“As several high-profile people are involved in the murder, we are demanding a CBI probe,” he said.

Mishra, who is now in the eye of a controversy for allegedly misbehaving with a lady police officer, said that all the protests which took place in front of his residence were ‘sponsored ones’.

“Such conspiracy is being done against me by those who are behind Naba Das murder,” alleged Mishra.

“It is a conspiracy to defame me. The Odisha Police has turned into a political tool which has led to the dispute.” Mishra added.
