Ruthless Jayanarayan Again Launches Scathing Attack On CM Naveen

Bhubaneswar: The Leader of Opposition (LoP) Jayanarayan Mishra seems to be ruthless in attacking the Odisha government and CM Naveen Patnaik. On Tuesday, the senior saffron party leader launched a scathing attack on the BJD supremo by posing several questions over the latter’s ongoing Mumbai visit.

While Speaking to reporters, Mishra questioned, what is the priority of the Odisha Chief Minister. Is it the ‘sponsored award’ or Odisha Assembly?

“At a time when the crucial session of the Odisha Assembly is underway, the Chief Minister doesn’t have time to attend it but he is now in Mumbai to accept an award. CM is always keen to sponsor awards and accept sponsored awards,” alleged Mishra.

“Only two players from Odisha are in the national hockey team. There is no representation of them in other games like cricket, football and others due to poor performance. The credit which Odisha government took for organising Hockey World Cup is of no use as the tickets were distributed among BJD workers and fans were deprived,” said Mishra.

The LoP further alleged that the state government which is taking credit for the Sundargarh stadium has been constructed from the DMF fund. The fund could have been utilised for various developmental activities in the district, added Mishra.
