New Odisha BJP Chief Accorded Grand Welcome In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Newly appointed Odisha BJP chief Manmohan Samal accorded a grand welcome at the party head office in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

On this occasion, BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda, former Odisha BJP chief Samir Mohanty, State in-charge D Purandeswari, LoP Jayanarayan Mishra and others were present.

Reportedly, Samal was appointed president of the party’s Odisha unit.

BJP National President JP Nadda on Thursday appointed Samal as Odisha’s party State President. Samal will replace the present chief Samir Mohanty.

Samal had earlier served as the Odisha BJP President twice. He was also a minister during the BJD-BJP coalition government in Odisha.

Samal was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from Dhamnagar Constituency in 2004.
