Man Kills Wife Over Minor Verbal Spat In Sundergarh

Sundergarh: A man allegedly killed his wife over a minor altercation in Deogaon area of the Sundergarh district on Monday.

The deceased woman has been identified as Manju Sandil.

According to reports, a verbal spat ensued between the husband and wife this morning.

Suddenly, irked over the matter, the husband attacked Manju, injuring her critically on the sport.

On hearing Manju’s screams, the neighbours reached the spot and found Manju in a pool of blood.

They immediately rushed Manju to the nearby hospital.

However, the doctors declared her brought dead.

On getting information, police reached the spot and detained the accused husband.

Further investigation is underway in this regard.
