Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Launches ‘Ama Odisha Naveen Odisha’ Program

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the inaugural phase of the ‘Ama Odisha Naveen Odisha’ program, aiming to bolster the state’s administrative infrastructure and foster a robust Odisha.

The program, which targets every panchayat and village in the state, was inaugurated virtually in Keonjhar and Bhadrak districts. A budget of Rs 3,397 crore has been allocated for the initiative, covering 6,794 panchayats. A total of 90,723 projects will be implemented, with each village receiving Rs 10 lakh in funding.

Under this program, emphasis will be placed on promoting Jagannath culture and developing digital infrastructure in every village.

“Preserving the Jagannath culture and safeguarding cultural and heritage sites for future generations is essential,” said Chief Minister Patnaik. “He also stressed the development of digital infrastructure, including internet connectivity, science parks, skill development centres, and banking facilities in villages.”

The ‘Ama Odisha Naveen Odisha’ initiative is expected to create significant opportunities for youth, society, women, farmers, and students, further establishing Odisha as a modern, progressive, and culturally conscious state.
