No New Course Structure In Upcoming Academic Year: SME Minister

Bhubaneswar: Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash informed on Sunday that no new addition will be done to the course structure in the upcoming academic year of state schools.

Speaking to media persons here, Minister said, “There will be four parent-teacher meetings next year instead of two per academic session across the state. The guardians will be asked to provide an atmosphere of proper education at home. ”

“The teachers will inform parents about the concerns regarding their wards. Not only the school, but the guardians are playing a big role in the education,” said Dash.

“The main objective behind the meetings will be to ensure that the children spend the maximum time in studies at home apart from school timings,” Minister added.
