Vikram Deb Autonomous College In Jeypore Upgraded To University

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today gave his nod to upgrade the Vikram Deb Autonomous College, Jeypore, to an affiliated University.

As per reports, the Chief Minister is slated to attend the platinum jubilee celebrations of the college tomorrow at Jeypore.

Established in 1947 by Vikram Deo Verma, erstwhile king of Jeypore, the college got its autonomous institution status in 2004.

The educational institution currently has 16 postgraduate programmes, 17 undergraduate programmes, BBA, BCA among other courses.
