WATCH: Crazy Fan Uses 10 Devices to Book Tickets for India vs Pakistan World Cup Match

The ticket sales for the 2023 Men’s ODI World Cup, scheduled to take place in October-November, began on August 25. However, this process was far from smooth, leaving many cricket fans frustrated. BookMyShow, the official ticketing platform for the event, initially crashed when tickets were released at 8 PM, instead of the earlier announced time of 6 PM.

One cricket enthusiast even took to Twitter to share a video of his struggle to secure tickets for the World Cup, attempting to book them on 10 different devices without success.

The World Cup is set to kick off on October 5 with the opening match between England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India’s first match is scheduled for October 8 against Australia at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Tamil Nadu.

Despite the impending tournament, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not yet announced the Indian squad for this prestigious event. Team India is currently engrossed in the ongoing Asia Cup, where their opening match against arch-rivals Pakistan was washed out. Now, Rohit Sharma & Co. are gearing up to face Nepal to secure their spot in the semi-final, which will be held at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka’s Kandy.
