After his surgery, the 29-year-old began his rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru in April. Unfortunately, this meant that he couldn’t participate in the 2023 IPL for the Mumbai Indians, as confirmed by a press release from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Now, with his Instagram post suggesting a potential comeback, fans and cricket enthusiasts eagerly await Bumrah’s return to the field. His presence will undoubtedly strengthen India’s pace attack and add depth to their bowling lineup.
