Ahmedabad: India will take on New Zealand in the third and final T20I in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. India had won the second T20I  in Lucknow, and have levelled the three-match T20 series 1-1.

This match win will surely help the Hardik Pandya-led side to maintain the number-one ranking. It will also help India win the series. The match will start at 7:00 pm IST.

Beyond the pitch, New Zealand have not moaned in the series and quite remarkably turned their fortunes after their hammering in the ODI leg.

Under Mitchell Santner, the team has played smart cricket and tried to bite down as hard as possible in the first two matches of the series.

Going into Ahmedabad, both captains will hope for at least one game in the series, where the competition is a little more even between the bat and ball.
