The much-anticipated cage fight challenge between tech giants Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg has taken an indirect verbal turn.
Zuckerberg posted on his Instagram story, “Send me the location,” alongside a screenshot of Musk’s initial challenge tweet. Musk responded on his platform X (formerly Twitter), accusing Zuckerberg of avoiding the challenge.
Zuckerberg then posted on Threads, suggesting he will “focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously.” Musk retaliated on X, calling Zuckerberg a “chicken.”
The rivalry began on June 20 when Musk proposed a cage match on Twitter. Recently, Musk announced that the “Zuck v Musk fight” would be live-streamed on X, with proceeds benefiting charity. Zuckerberg responded, subtly jabbing at X/Twitter’s reliability for fundraising.
The tech world eagerly watches as these titans trade words and navigate the path towards a resolution, whether in the cage or elsewhere.
