“BJP Wants to Kill Arvind Kejriwal”: Sunita Kejriwal, Claims Delhi CM Denied Insulin in Jail

Ranchi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal, voiced concerns on Sunday about alleged threats to her husband’s life while he’s in Tihar jail. She claimed that authorities are closely monitoring his meals through installed cameras, raising fears for his safety.

Sunita Kejriwal criticized the government, labelling the situation as a “dictatorship” for detaining her husband and his Jharkhand counterpart, Hemant Soren, without proof of guilt.

Addressing an INDIA bloc rally in Ranchi, she highlighted Arvind Kejriwal’s sacrifices for public service and his commitment to the well-being of Delhi’s citizens. Concerns were also raised about his health, specifically his Type-2 diabetes, and the alleged denial of insulin in jail. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has claimed that Kejriwal’s blood sugar levels have spiked dangerously due to the lack of insulin.

Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case and is expected to remain in jail until April 23, pending further legal proceedings.
