2 UP Men Arrested for Urinating on Tribal Youth

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh police have arrested two men on the charge of beating a tribal youth and urinating on his ear and face, reported The Telegraph.

The person who filmed the incident on his mobile phone and posted it on social media on Thursday is also being searched for by the police.

This inhuman act took place on Tuesday at Ghatihata village in the Sonbhadra district of UP. Two persons, Jawahir Patel and one of his friends were arrested under the SC/ST Act and other sections of the IPC in relation to the incident.

Police investigation claims that the accused men and the tribal victim knew each other and all of them were drunk at the time. They are agricultural labourers.

The victim told reporters that as he was drunk, he was unable to remember what happened that night. He allegedly came to know about the incident when he saw the video on social media on Thursday.

A week back a man was arrested in Sonbhadra for allegedly forcing a Dalit youth to lick spit from his footwear. Earlier this month, a man was arrested at Sidhi in Madhya Pradesh was arrested for urinating on a tribal.
