85-Yr-Old Woman Raped by 28-Yr-Old in Delhi, Who also Slices Her Lips

New Delhi: A 85-year-old woman was raped by a 28-year-old youth in Delhi’s Netaji Subhash Place area on Friday night.

Delhi police arrested the accused, identified as Akash.

According to police sources, this ghastly incident occurred at around 4 am on Friday. The aged woman was sleeping inside her house, when the accused sneaked into her home and raped her. He also allegedly beat up the elderly victim and cut her lips with a blade.

The elderly woman suffered critical injuries to her private parts and face.

Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal took to her X handle and questioned the Delhi Police over the incident.
