Odisha’s Animesh Pradhan Secures 2nd Rank in UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023

Bhubaneswar: In a remarkable achievement, Animesh Pradhan from Odisha clinched the second position in the highly competitive Civil Services Examination 2023, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Topping the charts was Aditya Srivastava, while Animesh Pradhan closely followed suit, securing the second rank nationwide, with Donuru Ananya Reddy also making notable strides.

Hailing from Bhalugadia village in the Talcher region of Angul district, Odisha, Animesh Pradhan’s journey to success is rooted in perseverance and dedication. Prior to this remarkable feat, Pradhan had already cleared the Odisha Civil Services Examination, showcasing his commitment to public service and administrative excellence.

Adding to Odisha’s triumph, Prajnanandan Giri cleared the exam, securing the 24th rank in the UPSC examination 2023. Furthermore, Shubhra Panda and Biswajit Panda showcased their mettle by clearing the exam, securing commendable positions at 204 and 343 ranks, respectively.

The success story extends beyond individual achievements, as a total of 1016 candidates succeeded in cracking the UPSC examination. These candidates are now set for roles in various esteemed services including the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
