‘Article 370’ Not Banned in Gulf Countries, Awaits Certification: Reports

New Delhi: The Bollywood film “Article 370” starring Yami Gautam and directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale has not faced a ban in all the Gulf countries, contrary to earlier reports. Sources have revealed that the film is currently awaiting certification in certain Gulf nations.

Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar, “Article 370” is a high-octane action political drama that hit cinemas on February 23. Despite initial concerns about its reception, actor Yami Gautam expressed confidence in the film’s ability to resonate with audiences.

In the movie, Gautam portrays intelligence officer Zooni Haksar, set against the backdrop of Jammu and Kashmir and based on the revocation of Article 370 by the Union Government on August 5, 2019.

Director Aditya Dhar, who also happens to be Yami Gautam’s husband and a producer of the film, emphasized the hard work put into the project and the intention to showcase the struggles of real-life individuals involved in the revocation of Article 370.

Featuring a talented cast including Priyamani, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar, “Article 370” has garnered positive responses and love from viewers, surprising its makers with its reception.
