Arvind Kejriwal Seeks Urgent Supreme Court Hearing As ED Team Searches Home

New Delhi: A team from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrived at the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.

Reports suggest that the ED officials are there to serve summons to Kejriwal. The legal team representing Arvind Kejriwal has moved to seek an urgent hearing on the matter from the Supreme Court, according to sources familiar with the situation.

At present, approximately eight probe officers are conducting searches at the residence of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader.

This development follows shortly after the Delhi High Court’s decision earlier today, where interim relief was denied to Kejriwal regarding the Enforcement Directorate summonses related to the liquor policy case.
