Bhubaneswar: Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates engaged in discussions with Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas in Bhubaneswar today. Their conversation encompassed a range of topics, including the empowerment of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), effective management of slums, and the imperative of digital transformation.

Earlier in the day, Gates paid a visit to the newly inaugurated Mission Shakti Bazaar in Bhubaneswar, where he had insightful interactions with members of SHGs. Additionally, he took the opportunity to explore the Koraput Coffee Shop.
Commencing his day with a visit to the Maa Mangala Basti in the Niladri Bihar area, Gates engaged with locals, gaining insights into various initiatives of the Odisha Government, such as MUKTA and the JAGA Mission, aimed at uplifting marginalized communities.
