Odisha’s Longest Flyover, Bridge Inaugurated by CM Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated Odisha’s longest flyover and bridge today, marking a significant milestone in the state’s infrastructure development. The 3-km long flyover in Joda, Keonjhar district, constructed at a cost of Rs 258.78 Crore, stands as a testament to progress.

During the virtual event, CM Patnaik also unveiled Odisha’s longest bridge over Mahanadi River on the Athamallik-Dhalpur road, costing Rs 159.31 Crore. Additionally, he inaugurated a 762-meter-long railway overbridge in Jatni, Khordha district, along with other developmental projects.

Emphasizing the importance of these projects in fostering tourism and infrastructure growth, Patnaik highlighted their execution under the 5T framework. He expressed optimism about their role in driving economic development and enhancing tourist experiences, citing the transformation of the Harishankar Temple in Balangir district as an example.

Further, the CM laid the foundation stones for the development of Achyutananda Peeth in Nemal, Cuttack district, and Maa Ugratara Shakti Peeth in Khordha district. He also announced plans for a bridge over Mahanadi River on Baunsuni-Birmaharajpur Link Road in Boudh district.
