BRS Leader K Kavitha’s Judicial Custody Extended Till Apr 23

New Delhi: Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of BRS leader K Kavitha till April 23, in the Delhi excise policy related money laundering case.

Kavitha was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 15 from Hyderabad.

On Tuesday, the ED applied for 14-day extension of the judicial custody of Kavitha alleging that she had attempted to influence the witnesses, and tampered with evidence.

On Monday, a Delhi court rejected the interim bail petition moved by Kavitha in the case. The next hearing in the matter is scheduled for April 10.
