Father Throttles 13-Yr-Old Daughter to Death in Nuapada Dist

Bhubaneswar: Forgetting ties of the blood, an inhuman father strangled his 13-year-old daughter at Kendubahara village under Dharambandha police station in Nuapada district.

According to reports, the accused identified as Gajanan Majhi resorted to this ghastly act because of a marital tussle with his wife.

Gajanan had an altercation with his wife over some family matter at home. In a rage, he caught hold of his minor daughter and throttled her to death.

Receiving information, police rushed to the spot and took the killer father into custody. The body of the deceased was seized and sent for postmortem.
