Amidst BJP Switch Buzz, Kamal Nath to Join Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra on March 2

New Delhi: Amidst swirling speculations of a potential defection, Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath is set to participate in the Madhya Pradesh leg of the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ spearheaded by Rahul Gandhi. A spokesperson for the Congress party announced that Nath will walk alongside Rahul Gandhi from March 2 in Gwalior, extending his participation until March 6.

The yatra is scheduled to commence its journey from Morena, traversing through various districts including Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Ujjain, Dhar and Ratlam before re-entering Rajasthan on March 6.

Recent speculations surrounding Nath and his son Nakul Nath’s purported plans to switch allegiance to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party had garnered attention. Notably, several Congress members from Nath’s stronghold in Chhindwara defected to the BJP in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday.

Addressing the event, Chief Minister Yadav hinted at the possibility of more defections, suggesting that many individuals were contemplating a shift towards the BJP.
