Lavish Burglar Who Prefers 5 Star Hotels Nabbed in Bhubaneswar, Rs 21 Lakh Cash, 700 Gram Gold Seized

Bhubaneswar: A burglar who preferred to stay in 5 Star hotels like the Taj Hotel, Mumbai, was arrested by Commissionerate Police. Around Rs 21 lakh in cash, 700 grams of gold was seized from the arrested burglar identified as Parshuram Giri

Giri from the Balasore district used to target locked houses.

Giri is involved in at least 21 cases of burglary including four cases in Mancheswar police limits in the past one year.

Apart from the cash and gold, 7 kgs of silver ornaments, and two bikes were also seized from the possession of the arrested burglar.

The accused Giri lived a lavish life and used to stay in five-star hotels including Taj in Mumbai.

He was arrested five times in the past and it is suspected that over 50 cases are registered against him.

He owns a lot of property in Bhubaneswar and his village. He only stole cash and ornaments.
