Man Thrashes His Mother to Death in Mayurbhanj District

Baripada: A man named Mithun Giri beat his mother to death in Karanjia area of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Fulamani Giri.

According to sources, Mithun resorted to this violent act following a heated argument with his mother Fulamani. In a rage he started to thrash his mother till she died on the spot.

Receiving information about this murder, police rushed to the spot and arrested the accused son. The body of the deceased was seized and sent for postmortem.
