Muharram Mishap: 4 Electrocuted to Death, 13 Injured in Jharkhand’s Bokaro

Bokaro: Four men were electrocuted, while 13 others were injured when the ‘Tazia’ being carried by them in a Muharram procession came in contact with a live wire in Jharkhand’s Bokaro on Saturday.

The tall ‘Tazia’ carried out in the Muharram procession touched an overhead 11,000 high-voltage tension wire. It resulted in a blast and electrocution of people holding the ‘Tazia’, resulting in a blast.

The injured were admitted to the Bokaro Thermal DVC Hospital for treatment. Out of the 13 injured the condition of nine was reported to be critical.
