New Delhi: The Centre has designated the ‘Muslim League Jammu Kashmir (Masarat Alam faction)’ as an unlawful association under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
Home Minister Amit Shah, in a post on X, asserted that the organization and its members engaged in activities deemed anti-national and secessionist in Jammu and Kashmir. The group is accused of supporting terrorists and inciting individuals to establish Islamic rule in the state.
