Noida Hospitals, Restaurants to Give “Democracy Discount” to People Who’ll Vote

New Delhi: Hospitals and restaurants in Noida and Greater Noida have come up with the innovative “Democracy Discount” initiative to promote voting among citizens of the area.

They are offering discounts on their services to citizens who will exercise their right to vote for the Lok Sabha election in the Gautam Buddha Nagar constituency on April 26.

The restaurants of the area are offering up to 20 per cent discount on bills. The hospitals are offering free full body check up to voters.

The initiative is called “Democracy Discount”. To avail this discount on April 26 and 27, the voters will have to show proof of voting.

All the customers have to do is show their fingers marked with voting ink and they’ll get the discount. Among those offering the discounts is also actor-businesswoman Sunny Leone’s Chica Loca.

In the health care sector, Felix Hospitals in Noida’s Sector 137 is offering a 100 per cent discount on full body check up to voters under its initiative “Vote for Healthy India”.
