Man Shoots Self to Frame Friend in Fake Attack Case in Noida

New Delhi: A 25-year-old man named Tanuj Nagar allegedly shot himself in Greater Noida in the arm on Wednesday morning to frame up his friend in a fake attack case.

The incident took place in the Kaanth Mandi area under Dadri police station limits.

According to police sources, the whole incident was related to money lending. Tanuj had lent around Rs 15 lakh to Rishabh Gupta two years back. Rishabh was allegedly not repaying the money.

Accompanied by another person Tanuj reached Rishabh’s house to ask for the repayment of his money. The man accompanying Tanuj stood outside Gupta’s house as the two talked inside. Later, Tanuj took out a firearm, and shot himself in his arm and ran out of Rishabh’s house.

Investigation revealed that Tanuj wanted to implicate Gupta in a criminal case alleging that he had fired at him.

According to India Today, no case has been registered yet in the case, but the police said they are ascertaining the facts of the matter and checking documents of the gun before initiating any legal proceedings.
