Odisha’s BJP Govt to Replace KALIA Scheme by CM-KISAN Yojana Including All Eligible Peasants

Bhubaneswar: The new BJP government in Odisha has decided to replace the KALIA scheme implemented by the pervious BJD government with the fresh CM-KISAN Yojana, informed Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo in the Odisha Assembly on Wednesday.

The Deputy CM added that under the proposed CM-KISAN Yojana, the farmers will get Rs 4000 every year in two installments. The landless farmers will get assistance of Rs 12,500 in three installments under the new scheme.

The farmers will have register at the CM-KISAN portal to apply for the benefits of the new scheme. All eligible beneficiaries will be covered and provided the benefits of the scheme, Singhdeo said.
