Superstar Rajinikanth Receives UAE Golden Visa

Superstar Rajinikanth has been granted a prestigious Golden Visa by the UAE’s Department of Culture and Tourism during his recent visit to Abu Dhabi. Expressing his gratitude, Rajinikanth thanked the government of Abu Dhabi and MA Yusuff Ali, the chairman and managing director of Lulu Group, for their hospitality and support.

The announcement was made by trade analyst Ramesh Bala on social media platform X, where he shared a picture of Rajinikanth receiving the visa. Rajinikanth himself shared a video expressing his deep honour in receiving the UAE Golden Visa and thanked both the Abu Dhabi government and Mr. Yusuff Ali for facilitating the process.

The Golden Visa was handed over to Rajinikanth by Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism, in the presence of Yusuff.

During his visit, Rajinikanth spent quality time with Yusuff and other top executives of Lulu Group, including a visit to Yusuff’s residence where he enjoyed a ride in a Rolls Royce. Speculations arose regarding the purpose of these meetings, with some suggesting business discussions. However, the announcement of the Golden Visa clarifies that Rajinikanth sought Yusuff’s assistance for the visa process.

Rajinikanth has exciting projects in the pipeline, including the film “Vettaiyan” set to release in October, which features Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati. Additionally, he will star in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s “Coolie.” Despite a positive response to the film’s announcement teaser, it faced legal issues regarding the music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, leading to a legal notice from Ilaiyaraaja for unauthorized use of one of his old songs.
