RI Attacked & Injured by Mining Mafia in Mayurbhanj District

Baripada: A Revenue Inspector (RI) was allegedly attacked brutally by members of the mining mafia at the Sabarnamajari quarry in the Mayurbhanj district.

The injured RI, Dayanidhi Rout, is posted at Badapathara under Khunta Tehsil of Mayurbhanj district.

According to reports, Dayanidhi faced the attack while conducting a raid at Subarnamajari quarry. Some unidentified miscreants suddenly attacked him.

Injured Dayanidhi was shifted to Dukura Hospital for medical aid. Later he filed a complaint at the local police station regarding this attack. An investigation is underway.
