Rolling Boulder Hits Moving Truck on Highway Killing 4 in J&K

Srinagar: Four persons, including the driver of a moving truck, were killed on Tuesday morning on the Jammu-Srinagar highway when the vehicle was hit by a boulder that rolled down the hill due to a landslide near Sher Bibi in Ramban district.

After being hit by the boulder, the truck fell into a gorge. Bodies of the deceased were recovered and shifted to a hospital.

All the four victims belonged to Anantnag in South Kashmir.

The highway remained shut for about three hours due to the landslide. It was reopened after the clearance of the boulders.
