Rourkela Police ASI’s Death While on Duty, Husband Alleges Murder

Rourkela: A female police ASI, Alisa Narmi Lugun posted at Uditnagar police station in Rourkela of Sundargarh district died while on duty. Her husband In the case of the lady police ASI death in Rourkela of Odisha, the husband Sanjay Lakra has brought murder allegations.

The lady police ASI reportedly died under mysterious circumstances while she was trying to control a mob in Rourkela on Sunday evening. The mob was protesting a road accident in the area.

Lugun was the security officer of Rourkela Assistant Collector Sushmita Minz, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances in September.

Sushmita’s brother had filed a case against five officials including Lugun.

Lugun’s husband alleged before the media that his wife was beaten to death as he found her cheek swollen and she was profusely bleeding from the mouth.
