Son Hacks Father & Mother to Death in Keonjhar Dist

Keonjhar: A man allegedly murdered his father and mother over a family dispute at Basira village under Champua police station limits in Keonjhar district on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Gora Munda, and his wife Pali Munda.

According to sources, this violent incident occurred when the deceased couple entered into a verbal tussle with their son Dhyana Munda on Sunday morning.

The situation turned violent as the angry son Dhyana Munda attacked his father with a sharp-edged weapon and killed him on the spot.

While attempting to save her husband from the son’s wrath, Pali was also seriously injured as she was also attacked by Dhyana with the same sharp weapon.

Pali was rushed to the local sub-divisional hospital, where succumbed to her injuries.

On getting information, personnel of the Champua police station reached the spot and took the accused Dhyana Munda into custody.
