Tamil Nadu NEET Aspirant Kills Himself, His Father Ends Life After 2 Days

Chennai: Jagadeeswaran, a 19-year-old medical aspirant committed suicide by hanging himself in Chennai on August 12.

Jagadeeswaran was in a deep depression after failing clear the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in two attempts. He left no suicide note.

But his father Selvasekar blamed the NEET administration for his son’s death.

Selvasekar was also found dead on Monday after he hanged himself. Before his death, Selvasekar said he was ready to protest against the NEET for its removal in Tamil Nadu.

Chief Minister MK Stalin expressed his condolences and urged students not to take such a drastic decision.
