The intense encounter, which commenced on Wednesday evening, continues to rage in the Bajimaal area of Dharmsal, where two terrorists remain cornered following a cordon-and-search operation.

Additional troops have been deployed to eliminate the suspected foreign national terrorists who had been moving in the area since Sunday, reportedly even seeking refuge in a place of worship. The casualties include two captains and a havildar, while a major and two jawans have been injured. The injured personnel are being transported to the Army’s Command Hospital in Udhampur for treatment.

Local residents reported that a cordon-and-search operation had been underway in the region since Sunday to track down terrorists.
