Terrorist Killed in Continuing Encounter in Rajouri of Jammu & Kashmir

Srinagar: A terrorist was slain during an encounter between militants and a joint team of security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Friday.

The gunfight sparked off on Friday morning during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) by a joint team of army, police and CRPF in Guller-Behrote area of Budhal tehsil.

The operation was launched after reports of the movement of suspected terrorists in the area. In the exchange of fire that followed, one terrorist was neutralized.

The operation is underway.
