Total COVID Cases Rise to 13 in Odisha, 5 New Positives Detected

Bhubaneswar: The total number of active COVID-positive cases in Odisha increased to 13 with five more new infected persons identified during the past 24 hours.

These 13 COVID-positive patients were detected in the last nine days.

In an advisory, the Health and Family Welfare Department of Odisha has urged people especially the elderly and those with co-morbidities to use facemasks while going out in view of the emergence of the JN.1 variant of Covid-19.

According to experts, people should remain alert even though the cases with the new JN.1 variant are mild.
