Tourist Bus Overturns in Kandhamal, 25 from West Bengal Injured

Phulbani: At least 25 tourists from West Bengal were injured when the bus in which they were travelling overturned near Mahakudi village under Brahmanigaon police station limits in Odisha’s Kandhamal district on Wednesday.

As per reports, these tourists from West Bengal were travelling from Daringbadi in the Kandhamal district towards the Gajapati district.

The driver of the vehicle lost control over the steering wheel at a steep turn and the bus overturned.

Twenty-five passengers in the bus were injured. They were admitted to the Brahmanigaon Hospital. Two of the injured were shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur as their condition deteriorated.
