Wild Leopard Snatches 2-Yr-Old Boy from Mother & Kills Him in Dehradun

Dehradun: A wild leopard attacked and killed a three-year-old boy in Singli Village of Dehradun in Uttarakhand.

According to sources, the victim named Ayansh Diman, was dragged away by a leopard from the courtyard of his house on Tuesday night. The child was with his mother when the leopard attacked him. The child’s body was found on Wednesday morning.

Uttarakhand forest department has started efforts to capture the man-eater leopard. Traps have been set at different places inside the jungle. The deceased child’s family demanded the big cat to be shot dead.

A compensation of Rs 1 lakh was announced for the family of the child killed by the leopard.
