Fighter Box Office Collection Lower than Siddharth Anand’s War, Pathaan; Know Why

Mumbai: Siddharth Anand directed Fighter has already grossed a decent worldwide box office collection of Rs 225 crore. But it is still far away from the box office collection of Siddharth’s blockbuster, Pathaan and War.

The Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Pathaan earned worldwide collection of over Rs 1000 crore. Fighter is also behind War, in which Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth worked together. War gathered more than Rs 166 crore in its five-day opening weekend in India.

Fighter is far behind War, which made a total of Rs 475.62 crore gross at the worldwide box office.

Two major stumbling blocks have not let Fighter soar high. Fighter has been released only in Hindi so it loses out on the non-Hindi audience in a big way. Added to it, Fighter is banned in the Gulf countries, which reduces its overseas collection.

Fighter has Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi. This movie was released on January 25, 2024 exactly a year after Pathaan on January 25, 2023.
