19 killed, 55 Injured Resisting Robberies During Ramzan in Pakistan’s Karachi

During the surge of armed robberies during Ramzan in Pakistan’s Karachi, 19 persons died and 55 others were injured while resisting the criminals, reported ARY News.

Local police have confirmed that armed robbers were responsible for the deaths of 19 citizens in Karachi during robbery attempts during the Ramzan month.

This year, Karachi has witnessed an escalation in robbery-related deaths, totalling 56, with over 200 individuals injured. In comparison, in the corresponding period last year, there were 25 deaths and 110 injuries during robbery attempts.

Karachi police were involved in 425 shootouts with robbers this year, resulting in the elimination of 55 dacoits and 439 sustaining injuries.
