Congress Corporator’s Daughter Stabbed on College Campus in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Neha, the 23-year-old daughter of a Congress Corporator, Niranjan Hiremath was murdered by her former classmate inside her college campus in Karnataka’s Hubballi on Thursday.

The accused identified as Fayaz has been arrested. The deceased was a first-year Masters of Computer Applications (MCA) student at BVB College. The accused was Neha’s former classmate.

The CCTV footage from the campus showed Fayaz stabbing Neha several times with a knife and running away.

Although Neha was rushed to a hospital, the doctors declared her brought dead.

According to sources, Fayaz, a resident of Belagavi district, had been stalking Neha for several days after she allegedly rejected his advances.

The incident occurred at around 4.45-5 pm on the college campus.

A case of murder has been registered against Fayaz and further investigation is underway.
