Huge Amount of Explosives Seized from Car at Karnataka-Andhra Border

Bengaluru: Police seized a huge cache of explosives from a private car at a check post on the Karnataka-Andhra Pradesh border in Kolar district.

The seized explosives included 1,200 gelatin sticks, 7 boxes of detonator wire, and 6 detonators.

One person was arrested in connection with the explosive seizure, while another managed to escape.

Both individuals are being investigated for their potential links to the Rameswaram cafe bombing in Bengaluru on March 1, in which nine persons were injured.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has identified Mussavir Hussain Shazib and Abdul Matheen Taahaa as the prime suspects in the Rameswaram cafe bombing. The NIA has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for any information leading to the arrest of the accused. One person, identified as Muzammil Shareef, has been arrested in the case.
