Man Gropes Woman Passenger on Mumbai-Guwahati Flight, Arrested

Guwahati: A man was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a woman co-passenger on a Mumbai-Guwahati Indigo flight.

He handed over to police when the flight landed at Guwahati airport on Sunday.

The woman passenger alleged that the accused lifted the armrest and groped her while the cabin lights were dimmed during the late-night flight. She immediately alerted the cabin crew, and the man was handed over to Guwahati police upon the flight’s arrival.

“An FIR has been filed by the complainant with the local police and we will provide assistance in their investigation, where required,” the airline said in an official statement on Sunday.
