Woman With Lover Kills Husband, Projects it as Heart Attack in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A woman was arrested in Bengaluru on Saturday on charges of killing her husband with the help of her lover and then trying to project it as a case of cardiac arrest.

The accused has been identified as Nandini Bai. The deceased is her 30-year-old husband, Venkata Nayak. Bengaluru police also arrested Nandini’s lover Nitish Kumar.

According to the police, on January 9, Venkat caught Nandini and Nitish in a compromising position at his home. It led to an altercation between Nandini and Venkata. Nandini and Nitish hit Venkat with a stone, and he died on the spot.

Nandini and Nitish dragged the body to the toilet. They also placed the stone near the head of the body. Then Nandini called up the police claiming that her husband had collapsed near the toilet and died after hitting his head on the sharp-edged stone.

Initially, police registered a case of unnatural death. But the post-mortem report proved that it was a case of murder. During interrogation, Nandini confessed to the crime.

Nandini and Nitesh knew each other from childhood. They used to meet whenever Nandini’s husband was away.
