Prabhudeva, AR Rahman Get Together after 25 Yrs for New Movie ‘ARRPD6’

Chennai: After a long gap of 25 years, actor-choreographer Prabhudeva reunited with Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman for an upcoming movie. This upcoming movie is tentatively titled ARRPD6.

Prabhudeva and Rahman were last together in Rajiv Menon’s 1997 romantic musical Minsara Kanavu that marked Kajol’s debut in Tamil cinema.

Announcing the news on social media, Prabhudeva shared a couple of concept posters for the film. The posters reveal that the film is directed by Manoj N. S. and A.R. Rahman has been roped in to compose the film’s music.

Prabhudeva’s iconic dance pose on the poster hints at a dance drama.

The film features Yogi Babu, Aju Varghese, and Arjun Ashokan in key roles.

Produced by Manoj N S, Divya Manoj and Dr Praveen Elak, ARRPD6 will be released in five languages — Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. However, the release date has not been announced yet.
