Ranvir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi as Lord Ram and Sita, Yash as Ravan in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi will appear as Lord Ram and Sita, in the upcoming Nitesh Tiwari magnum opus, “Ramayana,” which will have Yash as the formidable Raavan. This movie is expected to release in the second half of 2025.

The shooting for this project is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.

The meticulous pre-production preparations for the movie have started. The Oscar-winning VFX company, DNEG, is in charge of its visual splendor. The VFX team is conducting exhaustive test runs, including 3D scans and look tests.

Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi will start shooting first and Yash will join them for shooting in July 2024.

Yash’s role in “Ramayana: Part One” will be expansive, contributing to the narrative’s development with a character introduction of Hanuman.
