Sonu Sood’s Directorial Debut ‘Fateh’ Based on His own Experiences

Sonu Sood’s directorial debut film ‘Fateh’ will be released in theaters on January 10, 2025. Taking to social media, Sonu declared it to be “the nation’s best action film.” It aims to shed light on the serious issue of cybercrime.

Jacqueline Fernandez is the co-star of Sonu in this film. Produced by Shakti Sagar Productions and Zee Studios, ‘Fateh’ also has Naseeruddin Shah in its cast. This film marks Sonu Sood’s directorial debut.

In an interview with ANI, Sonu said that this film’s concept emerged from his own experiences during the pandemic. He discovered that many were being cheated by scamsters pretending to be him through promises of false loans and help. Sonu recognized the urgent need to address such type of cybercrime and decided to turn his own experience into a film.

‘fateh’ not only reflects his real-life experiences but also educates the public about such cyber frauds.

Around 90% shooting of ‘Fateh’ is complete and it is in its final stages of production.
