1200 years old temple of Maa Siddhidatri in India

New Delhi: The last day of Navratri i.e. Mahanavami is considered very auspicious. Mata Siddhidatri is worshiped on this day. On this day thousands of devotees come to Mata’s temple and make a wish for their success. In such a situation, if we talk about the temple of the goddess, then the temple of the Maa Siddhidatri is in many places in the country. But there is 1200 years old temple of Mata Siddhidatri in Chhindwara of Madhya Pradesh.

The ninth day of Navratri is the day of Mata Siddhidatri, and worshiping the goddess on this day is considered very auspicious. In such a situation, today being the ninth day, thousands of devotees come to the temple of Mata and make a wish for happiness, prosperity, and success from the goddess. It is said that the goddess is of a kind nature, whatever boon the devotees ask for with a sincere heart, the goddess gives them.

This temple of Mata Siddhidatri is located on Guraiya Road near Collector Bungalow in Chhindwara. There is an accomplishment in the name of the goddess, hence she is also called the goddess who gives all kinds of accomplishments. Maa Shiddhidatri has four hands – in the lower right hand, there is a chakra and the upper hand holds a mace. At the same time, a lotus flower is adorned in the lower hand of the left hand and a conch shell in the upper hand.

According to mythological beliefs, Tridev (Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh) are also devotees of Mata Siddhidatri. Worshiping Maa Siddhidatri on the Mahanavami of Navratri gives freedom to the devotees from fear, grief, and disease. Along with this, they also get all kinds of accomplishments. It is said that if a goddess gets pleased with any of her devotees, she grants him salvation. By worshiping the goddess, her devotees get supernatural powers and eight siddhis.
